Our Scholarship Opportunities.
Since 2000, we have given away $601,650.00 in Scholarships to 315 women in Kitsap County! Each candidates that participates in our program will receive at least $200 in scholarship. Our scholarships are made possible by the generous support of local businesses, community members, and fundraisers. We are also proud to continue our partnership with the Olympic College Foundation. Since 2005, they have given $61,925.00 in scholarships to our contestants to start or continue their education at Olympic College. All scholarship dollars earned through our organization can be used towards any college or university and school supplies.

Miss Poulsbo - $3,000
Awarded to the crowned Miss Poulsbo titleholder winner

Miss Poulsbo 1st Runner-up - $500
Awarded to the 1st runner-up of Miss Poulsbo division

Miss Kitsap - $3,000
Awarded to the crowned Miss Kitsap titleholder winner

Miss Kitsap 1st Runner-up - $500
Awarded to the 1st runner-up of the Miss Kitsap division

Miss Silverdale- $3,000
Awarded to the crowned Miss Silverdale titleholder winner

Miss Silverdale 1st Runner-up - $500
Awarded to the 1st runner-up of the Miss Silverdale division

Non-Finalist Scholarships - $200
Given to each non-finalist candidate
​
Promise for Tomorrow Award - $500
Given to the candidate based on their financial need for scholarship dollars

Olympic College Foundation Scholarships - $3,000 (Three $1,000)
Voted by the Olympic College Foundation Committee: given to 3 candidates

Artistic Expression in Talent Award
Given to the candidate with the highest talent performance score

Community Achievement in Interview Award
Given to the candidate with the highest interview score

Given to the candidate who is dedicated and passionate about building awareness and is serving their platform issue

Lolly Torey Keith Legacy Award
Named after our first Miss Poulsbo 1954, given to the candidate who is an avid leader in their community
​
Ardis Morrow Service Above Self Award
Named after a great Poulsbo Rotarian member: given to a Poulsbo candidate who is dedicated to community service

Hank Mann Skyes Service Above Self Award
Named after a great Silverdale Rotarian member: given to a Silverdale candidate who is dedicated to community service

Sunny Wheeler "We Build" Award
Named after an active Bremerton Kiwanas member: given to a Kitsap candidate who is dedicated to community service

Most Improved Award
Given to the candidate who has shown the most personal growth through the program process
​
The Golden Crown Award
Voted by our committee members: given to the contestant who embodies the heart and meaning of the program

Little Sister Mentor Award
Given to the best Big Sister mentor. This contestant showed that they spent quality time as a mentor to their Little Sister.

Girl Power! Award
Given to the candidate who embodies that meaning of our Girl Power! Workshop and is a great mentor to young girls
​
Director's Spotlight Award
Given to the candidate who has turned their paperwork on time, has helped others, and has approached the program with an open-heart and mind
​
Marketing the Program Award
Given to the candidate who marketed our program the most through recruitment and social medias
​
Applebee's Princess Breakfast Award
Given to the candidate who sold the most tickets for the Applebee's Pancake Princess Breakfast Scholarship Fundraiser

Non-Finalist Talent Award
Given to a non-finalist candidate with the highest score in talent
​
Non-Finalist Interview Award
Given to a non-finalist candidate with the highest interview score

Future Potential Award
Voted by our committee members: given to the candidate who has grown the most and would be a great fit for the program

Miss Congeniality Award
Voted by the participating candidates: given to the contestant who was warm, friendly, and welcoming to everyone

Most Tickets Sold Award
Given to the candidate who sold the most tickets for the scholarship pageant show

Voted by the audience: given to the candidate with the most popular votes for talent phase
